NEW & PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS' LUNCH // Sunday, April 7, at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall

If you are new to UBC, register for our new & prospective member’s lunch to learn more about who we are, why we do what we do, and where you may get plugged in. The meal is free! Children are welcome to attend with their parent/guardian. Be sure to register each family member who will be in attendance.


Missions Breakfast - Stop by the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, Mar. 10 & 17, before the services at 8:30 am to check out all the opportunities UBC has to Enage Our World in missions. Breakfast will be provided.


We are looking forward to God working among us as we engage Him, each other and the world in 2019! Printed reading plans are available in the Welcome Center that will guide you through the New Testament in a year. Weekly posts on social media will also list the reading assignments for each day. SOAR ADVENTURE STUDENT TRIP // Saturday, Mar. 30, at 10:00 am

7th-12th grade students, you are invited to travel with us to Franklin, TN, to see if you can climb all 4 levels of the Soar Tower with over 110 climbing elements. You will be challenged both mentally and physically. Can you reach the top? Register today!

Cost = $35 + lunch and dinner. We'll depart from UBC at 10:00 am, eat lunch enroute, hang out at the tower for about 3 hours and then grab dinner in the Cool Springs area before heading home.

KING FOREVER // Sunday, Apr.14, at 6:00 pm

Get ready for Easter and join us for a night of praise led by the UBCshoals Adult Worship Choir! You will be blessed as we reflect on the King's humble entrance, sacrificial death, resurrection and His expected return.

SENIOR ADULT LUNCH // Saturday, April 20, at 10 am

Sign up today if you would like to travel with us for lunch at Hagy’s Catfish Hotel Restaurant in Shiloh, TN, on Saturday, April 20. We'll depart from UBC at 10:00 am. Lunch is Dutch treat.

ENGAGE MEN'S CONFERENCE // Friday, April 26, 6-9 pm and Saturday, April 27, 8-12 pm

Men, join us as we engage our God together with special guest, Seth Hood of First Baptist Church Colbert Heights, on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, at The Hub. We'll kick the weekend off at 6:00 pm Friday night with a fish fry and conclude at 9:00 pm. Saturday morning we'll gather from 8 am until 12 pm. Donuts and coffee will be served. The cost is only $5. Please register in advance to help us prepare appropriately. All men high school and up are welcome to attend.

SENIOR CELEBRATION WITH JIMMY DRAPER // Monday-Wednesday, May 13-15, 2019

Come learn with us to better understand your own unique worth as a child of God, learn to value the breadth of your experiences, manage the changes that are coming, and finish your life gracefully—with great meaning! Deposit = $100 per person. Total cost = $245 per person (includes all meals at the conference and housing based on a double occupancy room). Learn more about the conference here. STUDENT MISSION TRIP // Sunday-Saturday, June 16-22, 2019

7th-12th grade students, travel with us to help a Chicago church plant! We plan to canvas the community and help with light construction and landscaping to bless area families. The total cost is $150. This covers a t-shirt, travel, housing and food while in Chicago. A $75 deposit is due by Sunday, April 14, to secure your spot. The final balance is due by Sunday, June 2, at the parent meeting at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Matt if you have any questions.

Church members are welcome to request the use of our facilities for personal events. Completed forms are reviewed on Monday afternoons during our weekly staff meeting. You will typically receive notification concerning event approval within 24 hours of this meeting. If a church member would like to request the use of UBC’s facilities for the purpose of a wedding, they must contact the church office to receive a wedding application. All events are subject to staff approval and calendar availability.

UBC currently uses Access ACS church managment software. Church members may set up a login to view the church directory, calendar, manage recurring giving online, make a payment for an event and more. If you have trouble, please contact the church office to make sure we have a current email address on file. The login you create here may also be used in our church app. Search "ChurchLife" in the app store to download the free app.
